About Stefanie Dworkin

I am documentary filmmaker and editor, street and fine art photographer, and educator with 25+ years of experience. Here’s a quick sample of my experience below:

  • Edited 50+ film, TV and internet projects including PBS’s Treasures of New York: The Flatiron Building, Fannie Lou Hamer:  This Little Light of Mine, The Prophecy of the Seeress and numerous short projects

  • Directed and/or produced 10+ projects including Treasures of New York: The Flatiron Building (co-producer), Sticker City, and The Reel Review

  • Award-winning photographer with solo shows in NYC and Paris, and included in many juried international group shows

  • Teaches filmmaking, editing and photo workshops and courses at the International Center of Photography and SUNY Purchase School of Art+Design

  • Taught documentary filmmaking and editing courses at Columbia University School of Journalism, Drew University, and New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts 

  • Worked with clients of all kinds — from professional filmmakers and photographers, to journalists, dancers, doctors, chefs, educators, entrepreneurs, artists, poets, activists, visual storytellers, and more...
